85 scholars representing eight Compton Unified schools took part in the Drones4Kids Aerial Drone Competition at Troy High School in Fullerton last Saturday, with a combined Clinton-Whaley team taking first place overall.

What is the power of mentoring? It can change student's lives and trajectories. Several outstanding scholars from Davis, Enterprise, Willowbrook, and Walton Middle Schools recently received LA Clippers tickets for them and their families, thanks to the CARES Mentoring Program and the CUSD Department of Black Student Achievement, in partnership with the LA Clippers.
